Azbell Electronics receives the 2007 Northrop Grumman Award

Billy Azbell Jr. CEO/President Azbell Electronics FORT HOOD, Texas — November 1, 2007 — Azbell Electronics has a longtime partnership with Northrop Grumman. The company has worked on numerous projects together including the Command Post Platform (CPP), a congressionally funded program to standardize tactical operation communications for the Army. Northrop Grumman selected for its Socio-Economic Supplier Excellence Awards those small companies that met the highest criteria for delivery, quality, cost and schedule management and customer satisfaction. Eleven categories were given awards with Azbell Electronics being chosen as one of those winners. This award follows a government sponsored production readiness review which showed the company in the top 10% of small DoD production suppliers.

“Northrop Grumman Mission Systems chose to honor eleven small business suppliers out of a pool of 6,000 socio-economic suppliers because of their unerring commitment of our success and the success of our customers,” said Cynthia Hyland, vice president of contracting, pricing and procurement for Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.

The awardees were recognized at the November 1, 2007 celebration held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, in Tysons Corner, VA. Receiving this award for Azbell Electronics were Billy Azbell Jr., CEO/President and Charles Craven, Vice President of Operations. We are proud to be given this honor and are delighted with the exposure this award brings us.
