Azbell Electronics continues support to Soldiers in Iraq |
|
Azbell Electronics current team deployed to Camp Anaconda, near Balad in central Iraq, in August of 2007. Members of this highly skilled and select team all have previous operational experience in Iraq. During unit rotations in the fall and early spring the team provided COMSEC account support along with Azbell’s distinctive expertise in the critical areas of: audio-visual communications; video-teleconference maintenance; environmental (air-conditioning/ventilation), and electrical power operations. The team has supported three different Major Logistics Commands, two active duty units and one reserve unit, during their thirteen month rotation.
Azbell Electronics support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) started in 2003 when US Army customers located at Fort Hood, Texas requested that Azbell Electronics personnel deploy and serve as part of the communications team. Azbell Electronics readily accepted the challenge to provide support for units located at LSA Anaconda for OIF II in 2004. These highly trained personnel assisted in the design, integration, operation and maintenance of critical communications elements inside a key logistics Joint Operations Center (JOC). As each successive unit has rotated through LSA Anaconda, they continue to request that Azbell Electronics provide and maintain a team of dedicated and skilled technicians to provide support for command post information systems daily operations, routine maintenance, and technological upgrades and enhancements. |
