Azbell Quality Assurance (QA) and Product Assurance (PA)

Azbell Electronics leverages ISO 9001 Quality Procedures throughout our production cycle. Our Quality Assurance (QA) and Product Assurance (PA) programs are implemented at the initial product design stage and at every subsequent step through final receipt by our customers. Our QA/PA department establishes internal milestones as a part of each products life cycle and monitors the milestones throughout the production sequence. The discipline imposed by that process insures that any shortfall that might affect delivery dates are identified immediately, elevated if necessary to senior management, and solutions (expedited shipping/alternate sources etc) are implemented as soon as possible. Azbell Electronics partners with industry leaders in each of our primary production areas (Audio-Visual, Power, and Environmental Conditioning) to ensure that the components integrated into our products are produced by companies in the top tier of their field. Despite the uniformly high reputation of our suppliers, we continually evaluate them to measure not only issues such as delayed or damaged shipments, but also how professionally our suppliers manage their own QA process. Our quarterly review of each supplier examines not only each the specific details or any individual QA/PA issues, but also examines how quickly and professionally they responded to the issue. Our suppliers are graded on their ability to meet the scheduled delivery dates, the quality of their product, and the cost. Azbell Electronics QA/PA program is an integral part of our entire work flow and is one of the major reasons that we are a recognized leader in the industry. An example of our demonstrated excellence in QA/PA was our selection, in 2007, as Northrop Grumman’s small business Supplier of the year after competing with over 8000 suppliers. Additionally we have been evaluated by the US Army Audit Agency as being one of the top Ten percent of the Army’s small business suppliers. Our QA/PA procedures are rigorous, precise, and demanding, so that our products are delivered On-time and On-budget.
